beautiful fireplace, large newly decorated rooms, location near a golf course

The unclean facilities were disappointing!!! the noise from events left much to be desired!!! A lift would make access easier with mobility issues!!!

oswald house offers an amazing location surrounded by a park and a golf course. it felt like the quietest night ever! the large fireplace in the entrance hall was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. our deluxe double room was spacious, comfortable, and had lovely views over the park.

Beautiful fireplace in the entrance hall and lovely views from my room made the stay unforgettable!

I was in town for a short business trip and stayed for two nights. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. The food in the bar was lovely and reasonably priced, and I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon for breakfast. my room was right above reception, and I was kept up by the music from parties on Saturday night, but the staff handled the situation well once I reached out.

Perfect getaway for couples

From the moment we walked in, the receptionist was friendly and led us to our Beautiful Double Room which was fine, beautiful view from the window and so peaceful. Waking up each day and having breakfast with friendly staff who genuinely cared about our experience was really great.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but worth every penny.

the bathroom was beautiful, clean and new with a great shower. bed was really comfy and clean. The room had an amazin view. breakfast had a great choice, and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

the windows could really do with a upgrade, and there were some minor issues with noise from outside.

I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room, and it was stunning! Beautiful view from the window and really peaceful. The room was spacious and well-decorated, with a modern bathroom that felt luxurious. The bed was super comfy, which made for great nights' sleep. There was a minor issue with the kettle, but it didn’t dampen my stay. A few minor noise disturbances from outside, but overall, it didn't spoil the vibe.

The experience at Oswald House was quite enjoyable with friendly staff and lovely decor, although the room doors felt a bit basic. The food was delicious, but I wish the portion sizes were larger. it's a charming place with a welcoming atmosphere.

Stairs could be challenging with heavy luggage.

The location is tremendous, offering breathtaking views over the adjacent park and golf course. My room was exceptionally comfortable and quiet, allowing for a restful night. The staff were highly attentive and went above and beyond, even providing us with plates for takeaway meals and making delicious bacon sandwiches for breakfast.

Limited dining options on certain days.

Had a proper treat finding fresh salads and veggies from local stalls nearby – talk about tasting Kirkcaldy! Plus, the bacon sandwiches for breakfast made by the owner were a stroke of genius.

Unfortunately during the winter months there is no chef on Mondays or Tuesdays, so plan ahead. But no worries, staff lent us plates for some takeaway – shining service in tricky times!

This was just an ideal choice for getting around the area in Kirkcaldy with great value for the money. The staff were really friendly and helped us with local dining recommendations that suited our budget. Bring your own shampoo and soap for a smoother stay.
